"Christ is all, and in all" (Colossians 3:11).

When all things are subjected to him, then the Son himself will also be subjected to him who put all things in subjection under him, that God may be all in all” (1 Cor. 15:28).

The verse refers to the consummation of all things when everything gets wrapped up and God
will be all in all. It will be the time that the harmony will be restored in the universe along with the manifestation of the sons of God. Having said that, do you know that God, in your life as a believer, is already all in all?

Scripture says: “For in him the whole fullness of deity dwells bodily, and you have been filled in Him, who is the head of all rule and authority” (Col. 2:8,9).

Maybe you are a young Christian, a child in faith, eager to take in all the exciting things of the new life. Christ is there for you. But to say that Christ is already your all in all is too much you can handle. Or maybe you more matured and are a young man in faith, standing strong, studying the Bible, dedicating yourself to be a disciple and longing to be faithful in Bible reading, prayer and sharing you faith with others. You knew already that Christ was there for you, but now also that Christ is in you and you want to be all you can be for Christ. But still, to say that Christ is your all in all, is still too much to swallow.

The apostle John knew these things and talked about children and young men in faith, but he also mentioned fathers in the faith (1 John 2:12-14). What is so special about these fathers? Well, they have seen that there is no duality between Christ and the believer, God there and you here apart from Him. They know the meaning of 1 Corinthians 6:17: “But he who is joined to the Lord becomes one spirit”. That doesn’t mean that you disappear or that you become Christ. We NEVER become Christ. He can be AS us, but the emphasis is on the “AS”. Christ does NOT replace me or you in the sense that you are not involved. You are involved. You are just as much a vital part of the union with Christ as Christ is the vital part of the union with you the created person. The Lord raised you from the dead, as you. That’s who you are. You are raised in “union” with Christ. The TWO of you as ONE spirit. One does not swallow up the other. You are in the foreground, and Christ is the life that lives in you, AS you, is also in the foreground. So you are TWO persons living as one. Two AS one is the key to union. Not Christ in you, but Christ AS you. That is what the fathers see. That isn’t a change in you, the created person. That is a change in the deity that is in you; from satan as you to Christ as me. That’s what salvation is. That’s what Galatians 2:20 is all about. You are still the same person that God created, but you are in newness of life because you have NEW life in you and IT IS Christ.

When you begin to see these things, you are ready for a discovery that is comparable with your birth from above. It’s the awareness that Christ is your all in all and where your natural life is an asset to God. That’s what the salvation of the soul is about (1 Peter 1:9). This website is dedicated to help you to come into these truths.
